Travel through time and space on this glass clock embellished celestially with Americana® Decou-Page™.

SUPPLIES

• paper towels
• small craft paintbrush
• 3/4" flat brush
• wallpaper roller
• glass clock
• scrapbook paper of solar system
• gold leaf gilding
• small sponge brush with pointed end
• flat razor blade
• AA battery
• glass cleaner

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Clean off the glass clock with the glass cleaner. Dry.
2. Cut out the scrapbook paper, leaving an area roughly 1/2” larger than the clock.
3. Using a 3/4" flat brush, apply liberal amounts of Americana Matte Decou-Page to the clock face. Apply the scrapbook paper to the decoupaged side of clock, with design side facing downward.
4. Smooth out all air bubbles and excess Decou-Page, using either fingers or a tool of choice. (I used an old wallpaper applicator.) Allow to dry completely.
5. Take a sharp flat razor blade and, while holding the glass, trim off the excess paper around the glass clock.
6. With a small sponge brush, apply the gold leaf around the clock to give it a finished look.
7. Follow the instructions from the clock manufacturer to install the clock mechanism.
8. Put in battery.
