Dress up glass trees with DecoArt Snow-Tex® and Americana Decor® Matte Metallics™.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• palette knife
• household cleaner or rubbing alcohol
• paintbrushes
• Christmas trees

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Prepare the trees by wiping them with rubbing alcohol or a household cleaner.

2. Leave the top third of the tree unpainted. At the top of the remaining 2/3rds, paint Ivory Pearl about 1" down. (See photo.) To ombre, mix one or two drops of Gold to Ivory Pearl, blending toward the middle. Continue painting down, gradually adding more Gold. Finish by painting only Gold on the bottom. Let dry.

3. With a palette knife, take a small scoop of Snow-Tex and pat onto the top of the tree. Continue working in small amounts, smoothing and patting down to the paint line.

4. Repeat the steps above for the other trees using Soft Silver and Emerald Green.
