Select a wooden shape for the sign. (The surface shown was created using cedar planks cut into 18" long pieces with four put together, making the final dimensions 18"x 14". The boards are held together with a simple frame in the back.)
Stain the wooden shape according to the wood stain directions, and let dry. (Twelve to 24 hours for complete dryness.)
Cut a vinyl stencil from the pattern included.
Place the stencil on the wooden surface as desired.
Using Cloud White and a cosmetic sponge, paint the wording and snowflakes as desired. Paint the snowflakes Larkspur Blue as desired.
Remove the stencil immediately after painting. Let the paint dry completely.
Sand the entire sign lightly with sandpaper to distress. Embellish as desired.
