Neon Lights Pencil Holder with Geometric Accents

Turn wooden bangle bracelets into one-of-a-kind pencil holders with Americana® Acrylics Neon Lights.

SUPPLIES

    • sandpaper
    • flat brush
    • painter's tape
    • wooden bangle
    • 1/2" pouncer
    • E6000 Glue

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Use a flat brush to paint three bangles in Green Energy, Radiant Yellow, and Knockout Blue. Leave the last bangle raw.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Use painter's tape to tape off triangles randomly onto the Green Energy bangle. Paint the triangles in Pink Explosion.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. On the Radiant Yellow bangle, use painter's tape to create random diagonal stripes. Paint the stripes in Peach Punch.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Load a pouncer with Pink Explosion. Randomly pounce circles onto the Knockout Blue bangle.

    9. Once all bangles have dried completely, use E6000 Glue to adhere all bangles together to create a pencil cup. If desired, use a DuraClear Varnish for added durability. (Shown: DuraClear Ultra-Matte Varnish.)
