Shoot for the Stars Classroom Sign

Create an inspirational and durable piece for pencil storage in the classroom with DuraClear Galaxy Varnish.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • stylus or pencil
    • galvanized metal container
    • white graphite paper
    • paintbrushes
    • standing metal sign

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Paint the entire sign and container in Lamp Black.
      2. Instruction #1
    2. Lay down more Lamp Black and, while it is still wet, blend in Wedgewood Blue and Royal Purple, creating a galaxy sky effect.
      3. Instruction #2
    3. Apply DuraClear Galaxy Varnish to the top and bottom portions of the sign, painting toward the middle. Cover the container in DuraClear Galaxy Varnish as well.
      4. Instruction #3
    4. Transfer the pattern using white graphic paper. Paint in the lettering with Silver.
