Chalky Finish Shelf Re-Do

Re-do a flea market ledge shelf with Chalky Finish paints.

SUPPLIES

    • paper towels
    • soft cloth
    • 2" flat brush
    • wooden shelf

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry between painting steps.

    1. Make sure the shelf is clean and free of debris before painting.
      2. Instruction #1
    2. Use a 2" flat brush to coat the entire shelf with Vintage.
      3. Instruction #2
    3. Use a 2" flat brush to apply Clear Crème Wax over the entire surface. Let dry about 15-20 minutes. Buff with a soft cloth.
      4. Instruction #3
    4. Working in a small area at a time, use a 2" flat brush to apply Deep Brown Crème Wax, working into crevices.
      5. Instruction #4
    5. Wipe back with a soft cloth.

    6. Optional: When dry, buff to a satin sheen.
