    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Paint the interior of the crate in Cotton Ball with a 1" flat brush. Paint the outside border in Black Tie using a 1/2" flat brush.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Measure and cut patterned scrapbook paper to fit the sides of the box. Apply a layer of Americana Matte Decou-Page to the surface; position the paper; and apply another layer of Decou-Page to the top, removing any wrinkles or bubbles with a finger. Once dry, use fine-grit sandpaper to smooth any edges or remove any excess paper. (Be sure to sand in one direction to avoid the paper tearing.)
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Trim a piece of vellum to fit on the opening of the box. Tape the Americana Decor Parisian Street Stencil backwards on the vellum. Use a cosmetic sponge to apply Waterfront to the "Paris" lettering; remove the stencil.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Repeat the previous step with a desired key from the Americana Decor Vintage Keys Stencil with Inch Worm. Repeat with the bottom lettering with the Parisian Street Stencil with Pink Tropics.
    8. Add the string lights to the box. Place the battery pack behind the box, and pull the string lights through the slats. Arrange the lights as desired and staple into place.
    9. Instruction #5
    10. Paint Decou-Page on the painted Black Tie border of the box, and place the stenciled vellum on top. Glue the feet to the box with E6000 Glue.
