Following the Spellbinders machine instructions, emboss the foil paper with the seashell embossing template.
Use a 3/4” flat brush to apply Calypso Blue over the foil seashell embellishment. Immediately wipe the excess paint from the embellishment, leaving paint in the recesses. Set aside to dry.
Tear the outside edges of the turquoise and sand scrapbook paper strips, if desired.
Unravel a few strands from each end of the burlap strip.
Use the 3/4” flat brush to apply a coat of Americana Matte Decou-Page on the canvas.
Position and press the turquoise paper at the top of the canvas and the sand paper at the bottom. Apply more Decou-Page over the papers.
Position and press the burlap strip across the center of the canvas.
Apply Decou-Page on the area for the quote. Position and press the quote onto the canvas. Apply more Decou-Page over the quote. (Refer to photo for placement.)
Press several pieces of sea glass across the bottom of the canvas. (The Decou-Page should still be wet enough to hold the glass. If not, brush a small amount over the area and press the glass into place.)
Tie a small piece of hemp cording through the eye of a metal charm sticker. Position the charm below the quote and press into place.
Position and adhere the foil seashell embellishment with hot glue.
HELPFUL HINTS
To prevent fabrics from fraying more than you would like, apply Decou-Page on the fabric and allow to dry before cutting it for your decoupage project.
