Wear safari-inspired a headband and shoes, made with Fabric Painting Medium and Americana Multi-Surface Acrylics.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• headband
• canvas tennis shoe
• paintbrushes
• #8 stencil brush

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Remove the shoelaces from the tennis shoes before painting.

Mix all colors with several drops of Fabric Painting Medium before painting.

1. Ombre the shoes starting at the toe with Iris to Eggplant at the heal. Allow to dry. Using the Funky Flower stencil and a stencil brush, paint the flowers in Lipstick and School Bus. (See photo for placement.)

2. Use the Funky Flower stencil on the headband. Add swirls in Blue Bird, accenting with Cotton Ball.

3. Let dry completely. Tie the headband around the hair and slip on the shoes for a colorful safari look.
