SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • #2 liner brush
    • #8 round brush
    • stylus
    • white canvas shoes

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. For shoe background, you will marble three colors, working small sections at a time to get the desired marbled or cloudy look. Place a puddle of paint on palette or plastic plate, about a quarter-sized amount of Lavender Fields and Eggplant, and a dime-sized amount of Cotton Ball.
    2. Dip a #8 round brush into Eggplant and apply to shoe using the dabbing method and covering about a quarter-sized amount of space on shoes. Rinse brush
    3. Use same brush and dip into Lavender Fields. Dab on next to Eggplant, blending the two shades slightly together so there is no harsh line. Cover most of the shoe in the shades of Lavender Fields and Eggplant. Rinse brush.
    4. Use same brush and load with Cotton Ball. Add a small area of Cotton Ball next to the Lavender Fields/Eggplant areas and blend slightly to give an even lighter effect in a few areas. Continue this over the entire shoe until it is covered. For small areas of the shoes, use a #2 liner brush to slightly dab hard-to-reach areas.
    5. Use a #2 liner brush and load with Black Tie to paint on all designs. Rinse brush.
    6. Use a #2 liner brush to mix (1) part Cotton Ball with (1) part Turquoise Waters. Use mix to apply on a few places on shoes. Rinse brush.
    7. Use stylus dipped in Turquoise Waters to create dots on the tops of the shoes. Wipe off stylus.
    8. Use stylus dipped in Lavender Fields to put dots inside the Turquoise Waters dots.
    9. Double-load the stylus with Lavender Fields and Turquoise Waters to create small dots throughout the shoes. Wipe off stylus.
    10. Allow seven days to air-dry/cure before wearing shoes.
