Upcycle a plain charger into a stylish accent piece for your home; gather the supplies.
Use a medium grit sandpaper to lightly sand the plastic charger. (This will allow the paint to adhere properly.) Use a medium flat brush to apply Pewter to the charger in a circular motion. Let dry and apply a second coat. Let dry.
Use a palette knife to mix equal parts of Texture Sand with Lace. Use a chip brush to lightly brush this mix around the charger, allowing the base color to show through. Let dry.
Use a palette knife to mix equal parts of Cobblestone with Texture Sand. Use a chip brush to lightly apply this mix around the charger, allowing the previous coats to show through.
Use a pencil to trace the provided design all the way around the perimeter of the charger. Use a small round brush to paint the design in Lace.
Use a small round brush and Lace to add accent dots.You've just made yourself a beautiful DIY wall decoration!
HELPFUL HINTS
This can also be used as a wall decoration by adding a hanger to the back.
Another great idea is to place this on a plate stand on a mantle or bookcase.
