Round Table with Chalkboard Tabletop

Repurpose a round accent table by adding a chalkboard tabletop of Clear Chalkboard Coating.
SUPPLIES
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- sandpaper
- chalk
- 1" wide sponge brushes
- small table (round or square)
- soap and water
INSTRUCTIONS
- Thoroughly clean the table with soap and water and let dry. Lightly rub the tabletop with sandpaper if it is too shiny or sleek.
- Paint the tabletop Desert Turquoise using a 1" sponge brush. Let dry completely. Add a second or even third coat if needed to make the surface completely opaque.
- Using a 1" sponge brush, paint the tabletop with Clear Chalkboard Coating using vertical strokes. Let dry one hour.
- Paint over the tabletop again with Clear Chalkboard Coating and the 1" sponge brush, using horizontal stokes. Let the tabletop cure for 24 hours.
- Rub a little chalk on the tabletop surface to condition before drawing.
