Other supplies
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- sandpaper
- scissors
- lint-free cloth
- painter's tape
- #3 round brush
- 1" foam brush
- spray adhesive
- felt
- stickers (letters: monogram of choice)
- wooden jewelry box (medium)
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Cover the entire exterior of the jewelry box with two coats of Everlasting. (If the box has feet, leave them unpainted.)
- Using painter's tape, tape off a design on the jewelry box. (Make sure to press the tape down firmly along all edges). Apply two coats of Mink Pearl to the taped-off portion of the jewelry box, including the feet.
- Using a lint-free cloth, apply a coat of Rose Gold to the portion of the jewelry box that has been painted in Mink Pearl.
- Remove the painter's tape. Using a small artist's brush, apply a thin layer of Rose Gold to the box latch and allow to fully dry.
- Using the lint-free cloth, apply a thin layer of Rose Gold to letter stickers that create a monogram of your choice.
- Place the stickers on the jewelry box and press down firmly. Apply a layer of Americana Gloss Decou-Page over the stickers and the entire portion of the box that has been painted in Everlasting.
- Cut a sheet of craft felt to fit inside the bottom of the box.
- Spray the back of the felt with adhesive spray and press into the bottom of the jewelry box.
