Wrap metal mugs and coffee pot in a seaworthy rope design with Americana® Multi-Surface Acrylics.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• rubbing alcohol
• cosmetic sponge
• metal drink set

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Clean the drink set with rubbing alcohol and paper towels. Let dry completely.
2. Place the rope from Anchors Aweigh Stencil on the center of the mug (below the lip line). Press down firmly, making sure there are no air bubbles.
3. Load a cosmetic sponge with Baby Blue and pounce on the rope. Immediately remove and wash the stencil.
4. Add the longer rope stencil to finish going around the rest of the center of the mug. Use the same cosmetic sponge to add more Baby Blue around the entire mug. Immeditately remove and wash the stencil.
5. Do the other mug in the same manner.
6. On the beverage pot, use the long rope stencil to make a border going all the way around the top and around the bottom. Apply using the same cosmetic sponge with Baby Blue.
7. Follow the label instructions for bake times to make the set dishwasher safe.
