Colorful Plastic Robot Tote

Stash toys, crayons, what-have-you for the road in this portable, plastic storage tote.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • tracing paper
    • transfer paper
    • pen
    • #1 round brush
    • plastic tote bucket

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Use a pen and the tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer the outline of the robot to the plastic tote.
    2. Use a #1 round brush and Dolphin to fill in the robot shape. Rinse brush. Let dry completely.

    4. Use a pen and the tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer the remaining details on the robot.

    6. Use a #1 round brush and Red Barn to paint a big ball on each antenna and the wrist. Rinse brush. Use the same brush and Pumpkin Patch for the shoulders. Rinse brush.
    7. Use the same brush and Chick to outline the inside of the mouth, adding Cotton Ball to make it lighter as you get to the center of the mouth. Rinse brush. Use the same brush and outline the insides of the eyes with True Blue; keep adding Cotton Ball so that there are three rings around the eyes. (See photo.) Rinse brush.

    9. Use the same brush and Black Tie to outline everything, add details, and fill in the pupils. Rinse brush.
