Customize a serving tray for your football viewing party with Americana® Multi-Surface Acrylics!
SUPPLIES
- scissors
- paintbrush
- painter's tape
- toothpicks
- printed images
- measuring tape
INSTRUCTIONS
- Clean your plastic tray. Let dry.
- Print and cut out your desired images.
- Tape your images to the top of your tray since you will be painting the bottom so the design shows through.
- You should see the image when you flip your tray over.
- Paint the white parts of the football first with Americana Multi-Surface Acrylic in Cotton Ball. When reverse painting, you have to paint what you want on top first.
- Then, paint over the white with Americana Multi-Surface Acrylic in Cocoa Bean. Once the brown is dry, you can add the white accents on this side, too, if you so desire.
- Next, add painter's tape to the bottom of the tray to make the football field lines painted with Cotton Ball. You can use a measuring tape or ruler to make sure the spaces between lines are equal.
- Once the white is dry, use Americana Multi-Surface Acrylic in Turf Green to paint the grass of the field.
- You can add your team colors if you would like on the blank sides using the same stripe method. Use a toothpick for any touchups.
