Retro Neon Boom Box Pillowcase

Create a quirky addition to a living space with this bright, retro pillowcase, made with Americana® Multi-Surface Acrylics.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- paper towels
- cardboard
- #0 liner brush
- throw pillow
- #4 filbert brush
- fabric pencil
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Work the paintbrush with the fabric for better coverage. Remove the pillow from the pillowcase before painting. Insert cardboard inside the pillowcase.
- Trace the provided boom box pattern onto the pillowcase with a fabric pencil.
- Using the filbert brush, use Green (Neon) to outline the boom box; Pink (Neon) for the speakers; Yellow (Neon) Yellow for the controls; and Orange (Neon) for the cassette deck. Use Glow-in-the-Dark Paint for sound marks. (As you paint the pillowcase, turn it to keep from smudging paint lines) Let dry.
- Apply a second coat on each area painted in STEP TWO, using a liner brush. (When you put on the second coat, dab with paint so that you get better coverage.)
- Let pillowcase dry completely; remove cardboard insert; and re-insert pillow.
