Americana Decor® Chalky Finish™ Paint
- Carbon (ADC29)
- Relic (ADC28)
- Vintage (ADC17)
Americana Decor® Varnishes
- Light Satin Varnish (ADM05)
Other supplies
- water container
- paper towels
- sandpaper
- 1" painter's tape
- #12 flat brush
- mantel clock (flea market find)
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Clean surface off with a damp paper towel.
- Tape off around top section.
- Use #12 flat brush and load with Vintage to paint the top section. Rinse brush. Remove tape.
- Leave the middle thin stripe showing the wood. Tape off around the bottom section.
- Use #12 flat brush and load with Relic to paint the bottom section. Rinse brush. Remove Tape.
- Use painter's tape to tape around feet of clock.
- Use #12 flat brush to paint the feet Carbon. Rinse brush. Remove tape. Let dry completely.
- Use sandpaper to distress the entire clock to your liking. Wipe clean with a damp paper towel.
- Use #12 flat brush and load with Light Satin Varnish to seal the entire clock. Rinse brush.
