Bold Red and Black Evening Sandals

Step out in vibrant color and a herringbone design with DecoArt® Stylin™ paint.
SUPPLIES
- tracing paper
- 1/2" flat brush
- vinyl
- shoes
- round #4 brush
- 3/4" brush
INSTRUCTIONS
- Paint the desired portions of the shoe using Black. Let dry.
- Paint the other parts of the shoe using Brick. Let dry.
- Create the herringbone stencil from the attached pattern and a sheet of vinyl. Apply the herringbone stencil to the strap of the shoe.
- Paint the open areas of the stencil using Brick. Allow to dry to the touch.
- Apply a second coat of Brick.
- Carefully remove the stencil and let the paint dry completely.
- Continue the herringbone pattern on the wedge portion of the shoe.
- Paint the open areas using Brick. Add a second coat for desired coverage.
- Remove the stencil and let dry completely.
- Touch up any bleeding or mistakes using a small pointed brush.
