NOTE: Allow paint to dry fully before continuing on to the next step.

Be sure to thoroughly clean the surface of each container.
To make a water bottle planter, use a craft knife to cut off the rounded top.
Using a #4 flat brush, paint the water bottle in Soft Jade and the cookie tin in Orange Sherbet.
Use a #1 round brush to paint on a flower pattern onto the cookie tin in Poppy. Paint on the leaves in Soft Jade. On the water bottle, paint Inch Worm in vertical and horizontal lines. (Refer to photo.)
Use a #1 round brush and Black Tie to outline the flower petals and leaves on the cookie tin. Add a line part of the way through the leaves and add dots to the centers of the flowers.
Use an awl to punch 1/8" holes across from each other on the tops of the containers. Also punch holes in the bottom of the container for drainage.
Cut a 3' piece of twine and tie the ends through the punch holes.
Plant a flower or succulent in the container and hang.
