Choose a table that is made of real wood and has clean straight lines to emphasize the edges once painted. Use a sander to remove any finish from the table.
Using a flat brush, apply Pure White to all but the top of the tables.
To add a graphic detail to the tabletop, use painter's tape to create a frame. (For simplicity, I used the tape as width (1-1/2") so no measuring was required. I placed one piece of tape along the outside edge of the table and then a piece of tape marking the width of the frame. A third length of tape created the inside border.) Remove the middle piece tape, and clean up the corners with a ruler and a craft knife.
Make sure the edges of the tape are adhered, and go over the frame with Seaside Blue. If desired, paint an element on the legs in the same color.
