Add color and character to a plain square frame with Americana® Stencils and DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• rubbing alcohol
• 3/4" flat brush
• cosmetic sponge
• wooden frame
• eye dropper

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Using a flat brush, apply Titanium White to the entire surface of the frame.
2. Apply Dioxazine Purple in an arch on the bottom of the frame. Quickly add drops to the paint of rubbing alcohol to achieve desired look. (See helpful hint below.)
3. Repeat the previous step with Cobalt Teal Hue, Yellow Green Light, Primary Yellow, Pyrrole Orange, and Primary Magenta.
4. Position the lettering stencil (shown: Whimsical Script) as desired. Use a cosmetic sponge to apply Cobalt Blue Hue.
5. Re-position the stencil and repeat the previous step for next letters. Allow paint to dry completely between letters.
