Americana Decor® Stencils

  • Honeywire (12" x 12") (ADS14)

Americana® Multi-Surface Acrylics

  • Chick (DA543)
  • Muted Gold (DA516)

Other supplies

  • cosmetic sponge
  • large flat brush
  • twine or hemp
  • small wire cutters
  • cotton tip swab
  • flower
  • drill gun (optional)
  • shoes (rain boots)

NOTE: Let dry completely between painting steps.

  1. Paint the desired portion of the boot in Chick with a large flat brush.
  2. Using a cotton swab and some water, gently remove any paint that went out of the desired paint area.
  3. Position the Honeywire stencil onto the boot as desired. Use a cosmetic sponge to apply Muted Gold.
  4. If needed, cut flower stems to divide up the flowers. Divide the flowers between the boots. Continue until you are happy with the arrangement.
  5. Tie twine onto the handles of each boot and position on a door. Position the boots so that one boot hangs slightly lower than the other. (If the boots do not have handles, you can drill holes into the boot for hanging).
