Queen of Hearts Painted Umbrella

Show off your love for all things Alice in Wonderland with this eclectic umbrella, made with Americana® Acrylics.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- scissors
- pencil
- umbrella
- paintbrushes
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let the paint dry completely before continuing to the next step.
- Enlarge the shapes from the card suits template to the desired size and print them out. Cut out the shapes and trace them in pencil on the umbrella.
- Fill in one black spade with Black Tie, using a flat angled brush to outline the shape and then filling it in. Let the first application of paint dry before adding a second one.
- Paint one half of the umbrella with Black Tie, outlining the shapes and painting around them.
- Paint the hearts and diamonds with True Red. (Two applications of paint are enough to provide beautiful, even coverage.)
