Easy Purple and Green Wall Cubes

Other supplies

  • water container
  • palette or plastic plate
  • paper towels
  • scissors (or box cutter)
  • ruler
  • pencil
  • 3/4" flat brush
  • scrapbook paper (one sheet each: purple, lime green damask)
  • wooden wall cubes (large and medium)


NOTE: Let dry completely between painting steps.

  1. Use a 3/4" flat brush to paint the cubes Warm White.
  2. Use a pencil and ruler to measure the scrapbook paper around the cubes, leaving 1" on each side of the paper.
  3. Cut the papers into four pieces for each wall cube.
  4. Apply Americana Matte Decou-Page to the center of the cube side at the width of the paper.
  5. Wet the paper, center on the cube side, and press down firmly.
  6. Use the 3/4" flat brush to apply another layer of Decou-Page over the paper.
  7. Repeat the steps all the way around the outer cube, making sure the paper lines up.
  8. Cut off any pieces of paper hanging off with scissors or a box cutter when paper is fully dry.
