  • transfer paper
  • small round brush
  • pen or pencil
  • medium flat brush
  • medium round brush
  • foam pumpkins (variety of sizes)
  • acorns and pinecone

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: To transfer the patterns, print to suit the size of the pumpkin's surface. Use transfer paper and trace with a pen or pencil.

  1. Gather the various pumpkins and paint.
    Step 0 Example
  2. Use a medium flat brush to paint the pumpkins in Snow White, Cobblestone, Warm Sunset, and Country Red. (Paint the largest pumpkin in Snow White.)

  3. Use a medium flat brush to paint the stems in Gold.
    Step 2 Example
  4. Transfer the provided "thankful" pattern to the large Snow White pumpkin.

  5. Transfer the provided leaf patterns randomly throughout the pumpkin. Use a medium round brush to paint the leaves in Antique Gold.

  6. Use a small round brush to add accents to the leaves in Cobblestone.

  7. Use a small round brush to outline the leaves and add detailing in Gold.
    Step 6 Example
  8. Use a small round brush to paint the bottom portions of the acorns in Spiced Pumpkin and Country Red.

  9. Use a small round brush to paint the tops of the acorns in Gold.

HELPFUL HINTS

When transferring patterns onto ridged surfaces, you may find it easier to fold the pattern or cut it to fit the area you are transferring to.
