Dot on some interest to any notebook or journal using tissue paper and Americana® Stencils.

SUPPLIES

• palette or plastic plate
• 1" flat brush
• cosmetic sponge
• tissue paper
• journal

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Tear the tissue paper of assorted colors into strips.
2. Using a 1" flat brush, apply a coat of Americana Paper Decou-Page to a small area of the journal cover. Apply strips of tissue paper randomly. Apply another coat of Decou-Page on top of the tissue paper. Repeat until the entire journal is covered.
3. Position the stencil as desired (shown: Americana Pixelated Stencil). Using a cosmetic sponge, apply Carbon Black. Reposition the stencil as necessary to achieve the desired look.
