INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Trace and transfer the provided pattern on the plaque with tracing & transfer paper and a pencil or stylus. (Omit the detail lines.)
- Use a 3/4" flat brush to paint alternating sections with Santa Red and Snow White. Let dry completely.
- Use the pencil to draw the detail lines as shown on the Snow White sections.
- Use a #2 round brush and Festive Green to paint in the detail stripes.
- Use a flat brush to apply a ring of water about 1" from the plaque edge. While wet, pick up a small amount of Snow White on the corner of the brush. Apply Snow White by sweeping around the wet area to create a highlight.
- To keep the letters straight, use a ruler and chalk pencil to lightly draw the lines where the lettering will go.
- Draw the lettering on with a chalk pencil or use your favorite stencil. Use a brush and Lamp Black for the lettering. (Or use a cosmetic sponge to apply Lamp Black if using a stencil.)
- Fold strips of tulle like a fan. Staple or tape one end to hold together.
- Position and secure the tulle on the plaque with hot glue.
