Clean the glass surface of the cloche with rubbing alcohol to help the paint adhere better to the surface. Draw out a design to follow as you paint.
Starting with the door and working your way outward, apply the first coat. Allow to dry completely before putting on a second coat. Use Coffee Bean and Black Tie for the door; Pewter for the knob and hardware. Use Woodland Green and Cactus for the hedge over the door. Use Dolphin, Cotton Ball, and Battleship for the stones. Use Coastal Waters, Deep Turquoise, and Cotton Ball for the butterfly.
Once the first coat has dried, add a second coat. Use lighter shades to add dimension. Use Blue Bird and Purple Sunset for the flowers around the door. Use Cotton Ball and for the daisies. Use Green Beret for the flower stems and leaves.
Once dry, go back and add details. Use a small brush to outline the butterfly and add lines to flower petals. Let dry completely. Add faux moss and a mini fairy under the dome.
HELPFUL HINTS
You can use a razor blade or craft knife to clean up any missteps after the paint is dry.
