INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Let dry completely between painting steps.
Tape the top edge of the terra cotta pot with painter's tape. Turn upside down and paint the bottom half Tuscan Red.
Remove the painter's tape and paint the top edge and inside of the pot Cloud White.
Paint the dowel Tango Blue. Attach Mylar to a strip of double-sided, repositionable tape. Wrap the ribbon around the dowel.
Paint the wooden star Cloud White. Once dried, outline the edges in Tango Blue. Free-hand a guest's name in the center and paint with Wrought Iron Black. Attach the star to the dowel using hot glue.
Insert a florist foam block into the pot and insert the dowel in the center.
Fill the pot with round glass stones.
Wash the glass plate with soap and water; dry. Wipe the bottom of the plate with rubbing alcohol.
Use a star stencil and medium round foam brush to stencil on Cotton Ball. Once paint has dried completely, outline the stars with Blue Glass Marker.
Tape the inside edge of the bottom of the plate. Use a flat foam brush in a pouncing motion to color the edge in Lipstick.
Cut off 14" of burlap ribbon. Seal the ends with E6000 Fray Lock.
Place the napkin so that you will be able to fold up 5" of the burlap to create a pocket.
Wrap the jute around the burlap once, cinching it in slightly and leaving 5" of the jute hanging. Tie a knot.
Paint the small stars in Cloud White, Tango Blue, and Tuscan Red, and use hot glue to adhere to the jute.
