Pretty Pastel Painted Stairs

Update an overlooked stairway with eye-catching pastel steps made with Americana Decor® Chalky Finish™.
SUPPLIES
- sandpaper
- clean cloth
- wood putty
- paintbrush
INSTRUCTIONS
- Prep the stairs by sanding and/or by filling holes with wood putty. (Amount of prep will depend on condition of the steps.) Clean away sanding dust and allow putty to dry before painting.
- Create a "rainbow" of colors for the staircase. (See attached pattern for rainbow of seven colors used twice on a 14-step stairway.) Paint each step a different color and repeat as necessary.
