INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Use scissors to cut three of the paper plates into this bird shape. Keep that piece that is cut out as that will be the wing. (See photo.) Cut a triangle shape for the beak from the cut scrap and adhere it with craft glue.
- Use a medium brush to paint the birds in yellows, light blues, pinks, and corals of Americana Acrylics from the above list.
- Cut out three wing shapes from the scrap pieces. Use a medium brush to paint the wings in contrasting colors. Adhere to each painted bird with craft glue.
- Use a small brush to paint the beak in Spiced Pumpkin and the eye in Crisp Blue.
- Use a pencil to make four holes on a paper plate: one in the middle and three on the sides. Loop a bead and baker's twine through the middle hole and secure by tying a knot. Use clear tape to secure baker's twine to the birds and secure each through a hole by tying a knot.
