INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. If needed, sand the crate and wipe clean. Paint the inside of the crate in Timeless.

2. Tape off the raised areas on the crate; paint the rest of the outside in Timeless.

3. Use painter's tape to mask off just the raised areas on the crate. Use your finger to smooth the edges down so paint doesn't get underneath the tape.

4. Paint one coat of Rustic, followed by a very rough coat of Enchanted.

5. Apply Rouge sporadically over the Rustic/Enchanted areas.

6. Finish with a light coat of Rustic, dry-brushed on top.

7. Remove the painter's tape and let dry.

8. Apply painter's tape around the hardware. Paint the hardware with a combination of Rustic, Enchanted, and Rouge to achieve a faux rust look.

9. Measure the Olde Worlde map paper for the outside areas painted with Timeless. Cut out and double check that the map paper fits the spaces properly.

10. Brush Antique Paper Decou-Page onto one of the Timeless-painted areas. With fingers, gently press the cut-out Olde Worlde map paper from the center toward the ends working out any wrinkles. Apply a coat of Decou-Page on top of the paper.
