    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    1. Place a dab of each color paint on the pallet. Mix each color with a bit of Fabric Medium. Use a watercolor brush to paint Petal Pink on the top, middle and bottom of the journal. Dip brush in water, repeat with Cherry Red and Tuscan Red colors in between the pink stripes. This will achieve an ombre effect, add more water as needed to blend colors. Paint the front, spine and back of the journal the same way.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. After the first layer of paint is dry, apply the stencil design using only part of the stencil at a time. Stencil the top right, middle left, and bottom right corners with the Pebble paint. Then stencil the top left, middle right, and lower left corners with the white paint. Over lap stencil edges slightly and allow the paint to dry in-between applications.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. The off-set design will look like this when finished. Repeat on back of journal after the front is dry.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Plan where the stenciled words will go on the book cover. (I tested them out on art paper first.)
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Stencil the words on the book with the Primary Blue Paint. Enjoy!
