NOTE: Let dry between steps. Glow Paint absorbs light and reflects the color back in the dark. To recharge the glow, expose to a bright light source.
Use a pencil to lightly draw a crescent shape on the wooden circle.
Use a 3/4" flat brush and Deep Midnight Blue to paint the outside area of the circle.
Use a 3/4" flat brush and Baby Blue to paint the crescent shape.
Position the Mandala stencil as desired. Mask off the crescent edge with tape. (This will hold the stencil in place as well as create a clean edge when the stencil is removed.)
Use a cosmetic sponge wedge to gently tap Snow White over the open stencil area on the crescent. Lift the corner of the stencil to check coverage.
Smooth the stencil back down. Use the cosmetic sponge wedge to tap several light coats of Blue Glow paint over the Snow White areas. Remove the stencil.
Position the lettering pattern on the Deep Midnight Blue section. Secure with tape at the top. Slide transfer paper, shiny side down, under the pattern. Use stylus or pen to transfer the pattern.
Use a liner brush and Snow White to paint the lettering. OPTIONAL: When dry, mist circle with Matte Spray Finish to seal.
Here is how your project looks by day....and it will glow-in-the-dark by night.
HELPFUL HINTS
When stenciling, several light coats will yield better results than one heavy coat. Heavy applications may cause paint to seep under the stencil.
