    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let paint dry between steps.

    1. Remove the drawers from the dresser and wipe clean, making sure everything is clear of dust, dirt, and debris.
    2. Using a 3" flat brush, paint the drawers with two coats of each color, from the top, lightest to darkest: Serene, Escape, Treasure, and Legacy.
    3. Instruction #2
    4. Using a 2" wide painter's brush, paint the dresser with two coats of Everlasting and the legs in Legacy.
    5. Instruction #3
    6. Trace and cut out the whale and water spouting pattern to desired size (to fit the drawers).
    7. Use the bottom of the whale to create a wave stencil. Trace and repeat wavy pattern onto 2" painter's tape the width of the drawer. Place and adhere the wavy tape pattern to the bottom drawer (the one painted in Legacy - the darkest blue) and use a sea sponge to swiftly dab on two coats of Everlasting. Immediately remove the tape slowly. (This will ensure crisper lines.)
    8. Place whale/water spouting pattern onto the drawer and trace using a pencil. Using a #8 round brush, outline the whale and water spouting in Everlasting. Fill in using a 3/4" flat brush.
    9. Using 3" flat brush, seal dresser with two coats of Soft Touch Varnish. (Or varnish of your choice - Ultra-Matte or Satin.)
