INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Wipe the glass canisters clean with a paper towel and rubbing alcohol.
- Create a frosted glass look on the canisters by using a sponge to dab on one coat of Frost Gloss Enamel, one each in Pink, Turquoise, Yellow, and Purple.
- Wipe the wooden base/crate and wooden lids clean, making sure to remove any dust and debris.
- Using a 3/4" flat brush, paint the base/crate and all four lids with two coats of Lace. Once dry, lightly sand for an old-fashioned, distressed look.
- Using a #4 flat brush, paint the knobs on all four lids with Chalky Finish, one each in Innocence, Escape, Delicate, and Remembrance.
- OPTIONAL - Create tags for each canister by decoupaging scrapbook paper onto small wood plaques using Americana Matte Decou-Page. Print out words of your choice/candy and cut slightly smaller than the wood plaques (so that scrapbook paper shows around the perimeter).
- Using craft glue, adhere twine/jute around the sides and bottoms of the plaques and tie around the tops of the canisters.
