Mix a 1:1 ratio of Green Gold and Titanium White. Using a 1" flat brush, coat the entire frame in the mix. Let dry completely.
Mix a 2:1 ratio of Green Gold and Titanium White. Paint the center third of frame in the mix, blending into the lighter mix on top. (Use a cosmetic sponge if needed to help blend.)
Apply Green Gold to the bottom third of the frame, blending into the Green Gold/Titanium White mix from step 2. (Use a cosmetic sponge again for blending if needed.)
While the paint is still wet, dip fingers into clean water and splatter water onto the frame. Let the water stand for 30-60 seconds. Lay a clean piece of paper towel flat on the frame surface. (Do not scrub; only pick up larger pools of splattered water.) Let paint dry completely.
Position the Americana Top 20 Stencil in the desired location. Using a cosmetic sponge, apply Medium Grey Value 6.
HELPFUL HINTS
It is best to work quickly when applying and blending two darker shades of color. Add a tiny bit of water if needed to extend working time.
