Use Liquid Glass to draw a random pattern of curls and dots on the front of each wooden letter. Allow to dry completely until it is clear and hard.
Paint the letters fronts and sides with two coats of New Life. Allow to dry.
Apply a coat of DuraClear Matte Varnish to the letters.
Cut the burlap ribbon to a length that allows all the letters to fit lengthwise with a few extra inches on each end. Secure the bottom and top raw edges by turning over and attaching with hot glue.
Cut a length of rope long enough to make a loop for hanging the door decoration. Secure it by gluing the two ends together and then to the burlap ribbon. Fold the top of the burlap over and glue with a hot glue gun.
Using hot glue, attach the letters to the burlap ribbon.
Pull a pine floral pick apart. Using hot glue, tuck the stems under the letters. Adhere several pinecones as well.
Make a bow with wired ribbon and attach it to the top of the hanger with hot glue.
