Using a cosmetic sponge, paint the base of the flutes with two coats of Black. Using a #8 flat brush, paint stripes up the stem (the same width as the brush) in Black. Using a #8 flat brush, paint the alternating stripes in White.
Use painter's tape to mask off the top rim of the flute. Using a cosmetic sponge, dab on two coats of Black. Using a #6 round brush, dab on tiny dots of Glorious Gold in between the stripes.
Using the same method as above, dot along the top in Glorious Gold.
Mask off the desired height of numerals with painter's tape and, using a #6 round brush, paint "XII" on one flute.
Using a #6 round brush, paint the word "Cheers" in Glorious Gold on the other flute.
