Gallery Wall Frames in a Neutral Color Palette

Five frames painted in a neutral palette that can be displayed as a gallery wall
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- ruler
- #10 flat brush
- #2 liner brush
- kitchen sponge
- pencil
- blue painters tape
- 3/4" brush
- 5 picture frames
INSTRUCTIONS
- Use 3/4 flat to basecoat 8x10 frame,one 5x7 frame and one 4x6 frame Cobblestone. Basecoat remaining two frames with Sand Grey.
- Finished example of frame #1.
- Adhere different widths of tape on 8x10 frame to create geometric stripes as desired.
- Use small piece of kitchen sponge to dab Snow White Pearl in open spaces.
- Remove tape.
- Finished example of frame #2.
- Use ruler and pencil to measure and mark double stripes on each side of frame. Tape off stripes on Cobblestone 5x7 frame.
- Use #10 flat and Snow White Pearl to paint inside stripe areas.
- Once double stripes are dry, use brush handle end to dot each corner with four dots.
- Finished example of frame #3.
- Use #10 flat brush and Sand Grey to paint checks around raised border of frame.
- Finished example of frame #4.
- Use painter's tape to mask off wide stripes on Sand Grey 5x7 frame. Use 3/4 brush and Cobblestone to paint stripes. Remove tape.
- Finished example of frame #6.
- Use ruler and pencil to find frame center. Mark off diamond shapes.
- Use #2 liner and Cobblestone to loosely paint over diamond lines.
- Use brush handle end to dot between diamond shapes with Snow White Pearl.
- Seal frames with varnish of your choice.
