Name Tag Stenciled Vase

Painting your own gift tag on this vase guarantees the person will know who the gift came from.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- rubbing alcohol
- scissors
- burlap ribbon
- craft glue
- 1" painter's tape
- #1 liner brush
- cosmetic sponge
- 3/8" flat brush
- #10/0 liner brush
- glass vase
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Cleaning the vase with rubbing alcohol and paper towels. Let dry completely.
- Place the tag from the Tags & Labels Stencil on the front of the vase. (You can hold down with painter's tape). Use the #10/0 liner brush and White to outline the shape of the tag. Remove the stencil.
- Use a 3/8" flat brush and Black to paint the label of choice. Rinse brush. Let dry completely.
- Replace the stencil over the basecoated tag; tape down with painter's tape. Load a cosmetic sponge with White and pounce until all details of the tag are applied. Immediately remove the stencil and wash it.
- Use a #1 liner brush and White to add a name of choice in a font of choice. Rinse brush. Let completely dry.
- Measure ribbon to fit around the vase and cut with scissors.
- Wrap the ribbon around the vase. Use craft glue to attach both ends of the ribbon and hold for one minute.
- Use a #1 liner brush and White to connect the tag with a painted string and bow. Rinse brush.
