Decou-paged Musical Note Trio

Make a noteworthy wall accent with Americana DecouPage Glue, Dazzling Metallics, and Americana Acrylics.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- scissors
- pencil
- 3/4" flat brush
- three large wooden musical notes
- three sheets of different color music scrapbook paper
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Use pencil to trace music note shapes on all three papers. Cut out with scissors.
- Use 3/4" flat brush to paint edges of one music note Graphite; one, Heritage Brick; and the third, Splendid Gold.
- With same brush to apply DecouPage on front of musical note.
- Wet and carefully line up paper with contour of musical note.
- Press paper down on note with fingers from center out to flatten and remove bubbles.
- Go back over note with more DecouPage to seal down.
- With 3/4" flat brush, mix one part Staining/Antiquing Medium with one part Graphite and use to antique around edges of paper on musical note with Graphite edge.
- Repeat step 7 with Heritage Brick and Heritage Brick-edged note and then with Splendid Gold and Splendid Gold-edged note.
