NOTES:
Be sure to paint the top, sides, shelves, and dividers.
- Use a 2" flat brush to prime the entire box using a light coat of White Gesso.
- Paint the bottom drawer and part of the second drawer with a light coat of Yellow Green Light using a 3/4" flat brush. Paint the top drawers and part of the middle drawer using Cobalt Teal Hue.
- Use a sea sponge to dab on the same colors to create a textured look. To add an even more dimensional look, use a sea sponge to dab on Phthalo Green-Yellow on top of the Yellow Green Light. Use a sea sponge to dab Cobalt Turquoise Hue on top of the Cobalt Teal Hue previously added.
- Position the Americana Oopsy Daisy Stencil and use a cosmetic sponge to paint flower petals using Quinacridone Red. (Be sure to paint on several layers and allow them to dry between coats.)
- Paint in the centers of the flowers using a 1/4" flat brush and Carbon Black. Paint on the stems using a liner brush and Carbon Black.
- Use a liner brush to add Carbon Black details on the petals and Titanium White highlights.
- Mist the top of the dresser with the White (Shimmer) Mister and the front with the Carbon Black Mister. Add dimensional butterflies as a finishing touch.
