Painted Mother's Day Child Necklaces

Make Mom homemade necklaces with silhouettes of the kids using Americana® Multi-Surface Acrylics and Liquid Glass.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • scissors
    • pencil
    • #6 flat brush
    • jute, hemp, string, or yarn
    • bezel

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Use the shape of the bezel to trace over the Decou-Page Paper. (Show: Vintage Silhouette). Use a pencil to trace it evenly.

    2. Use scissors to cut out the children's silhouettes.

    3. Use a small flat brush to adhere the Decou-Page Paper inside the bezel with Dishwasher-Safe Decou-Page. Let dry completely.

    4. Use a small flat brush to paint the bezels. Paint with one in Peach Silk and the other one in Baby Blue. Rinse brush.

    5. Fill the bezels with Liquid Glass. Leave flat until completely dry.

    6. Use scissors to cut string, yarn, or jute into the size you want and tie to bezels.
