Store treats and decorate for Halloween at the same time with this monstrous duo.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• tracing paper
• transfer paper
• rubbing alcohol
• Mason jars
• 3/4" flat brush
• #10 flat brush
• #0 liner brush

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Wash the jars in warm, soapy water; rinse; and dry well before painting. (Or wipe clean with rubbing alcohol and let dry completely.)
2. PURPLE MONSTER JAR: Use a 3/4" flat brush to basecoat the jar Lavender and cap Black.
3. Trace and transfer the face pattern onto the jar.
4. Use a #10 flat brush to paint the eyes and tooth White; nose, Tuscan Red; and the eyebrows and eye irises, Black.
5. Use a #0 liner brush and Black to outline.
6. Use the handle end of a paintbrush and White to dot a highlight in the eyes.
7. WHITE MONSTER JAR: Use a 3/4" flat brush and basecoat the jar White.
8. Use a #10 flat brush to paint eyes Festive Green; nose, Tuscan Red; and cap, Black.
9. Use a #0 liner brush and Black to outline.
10. Use the handle end of a paintbrush and White to dot a highlight in the eyes.
