Modern Suede and Metallic Vase Trio

Give plain glass a modern, sleek vibe with DecoArt® Suede™.
SUPPLIES
- transfer paper
- rubbing alcohol
- masking tape
- small brush
- medium flat brush
- dry cloth
- glass vases
- •pencil
INSTRUCTIONS
- Wipe the glass vases clean with a dry cloth and rubbing alcohol or glass cleaner.
- VASE 1: Use a medium flat brush to paint the vase in Khaki using a crosshatch motion. Let dry. Add a second coat. Let dry.
- VASE 1: Use a small brush to paint little ovals throughout in 24K Gold. (Refer to photo.)
- VASE 2: Use a medium flat vase to paint the bottom 1/3 in Charcoal, using a crosshatch motion.(Do NOT let dry, immediately proceed to next step; do not rinse brush.)
- VASE 2: Load the same brush from Step FOUR with Suede and continue up the vase, overlapping paint with the previous color blending up as you go. Continue to the top of the vase. Let dry. Add a second coat by repeating this process. Let dry.
- VASE 2: Use a small brush to add tiny vertical brushstrokes in 24K Gold around the vase where both colors meet.
- VASE 3: Use a medium flat brush to paint the bottom third of the vase in Charcoal and the top 2/3 in Light Fern. (Use masking tape to mark off areas, if you wish.)
- VASE 3: Transfer provided pattern with a pencil and transfer paper. Use a medium flat brush and the provided pattern to paint two oval shapes in 24K Gold.
