Mixed Media House Ornament

Create a unique and quirky mixed media house ornament with DecoArt Media® Fluid Acrylics.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • craft glue
    • #6 round brush
    • assorted scrapbook paper
    • wooden letters
    • wooden pieces
    • rickrack

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Find images on Graphics Fairy or images of your choice.

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Gather all elements and printed images. Adhere the triangle (roof) to the top of the square with craft glue.

    3. Trace a triangle and square onto scrapbook paper and cut out. Adhere the scrapbook papers and elements to the house with craft glue. (Refer to photo for placement.)

    5. Using a #6 round brush, paint the roof in Pyrrole Red and Primary Magnenta and the house in Cobalt Teal. Paint the word "JOY" in Yellow Green Light and the door in Primary Magenta.

    7. Use craft glue to adhere black rickrack trim to the house.
