Mixed Media Dandelion Stenciled Canvas

Adorn walls with this colorful mixed media dandelion stenciled canvas made with DecoArt Media®.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • 3/4" flat brush
    • cosmetic sponge
    • canvas
    • palette knife
    • permanent marker
    • medium brush

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Using a black permanent marker, write random words directly on the canvas. Using a 3/4" flat brush, loosely paint the canvas with Green Gold, Cobalt Teal Hue, and Cerulean Blue. (Dip the brush in water before applying the paint to make it more transparent.)

    2. Add a few drops of Primary Magenta.

    3. Use a palette knife to loosely spread the paint.

    4. Use a 3/4" flat brush to paint over the entire surface with Translucent White. (Dip the brush in water before applying the paint to make it more transparent.)

    5. Use a 3/4" flat brush to paint the perimeter in Primary Magenta. Place the Dandelion Stencil on the canvas and use a cosmetic sponge to dab on Titanium White.
