- drop cloth
- side table
- 2" angle brush
- damp cloth
- rags
- gloves
- foam sponge
- 1 1/2" angle brush
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
No primer or sealer is needed before painting or to protect the finish afterwards.
Shake the Matte Metallic containers well before using the paint.
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Pour rubbing alcohol on a lint-free cloth and wipe away any dust and factory oils from the side table before painting.
- Lightly sand all surfaces to be painted. Use a damp cloth to clean off all sanding dust.
- Load the tip of a 2" paintbrush with Charcoal and, using long, continuous strokes, in the same direction, paint the bottom section of the side table. (To pant the inside of the punched metal case, use a foam brush. ) Allow 2-3 hours drying time and lightly sand between coats. Wipe with a damp cloth to remove sanding dust.
- Before starting the top, protect the Charcoal painted area by taping it off with painter's tape.
- Load the tip of the 1 1/2" paintbrush with Warm Copper and, using long, continuous strokes in the same direction, paint the top of the side table. Allow 2-3 hours dry time and finely sand between coats. Wipe with a damp cloth to remove sanding dust. (I used three light coats.)
- Remove the painter's tape and allow to dry completely.
